Brother and Sister Climbing Fences: This picturesque white picket fence in the backyard of this midtown Toronto home was a great setting to photograph this brother sister duo.
Where should we take the pictures? This is a common questions that my clients ask me. My first suggestion is that your home might be the perfect location. It has more meaning to you than a park. Having your rooms and possessions in the background of your family photographs can add a nice level of symbolism to your portraits. The backyard is a terrific place to head to after we have finished the indoor portraits.
The lush greenery of a typical Toronto backyard is sufficient to create a nice bit of shade where the kids can play. In this case, the small white picket fence was the perfect prop and the kids climbing all over it made for a terrific scene.
