The ketubah signing is the moment a Jewish marriage becomes formally binding, with witnesses and the rabbi present, before the bedeken and the chuppah that follow. It is a quiet, deliberate scene, often photographed in a small room set aside for the purpose, and it asks a photographer to work close, observe carefully, and stay out of the way.
This Toronto wedding was held at the Fairmont Royal York on Front Street and was later featured in Wedluxe Magazine, Canada's leading luxury wedding publication. It is one of several weddings of mine that have appeared there over the years.
