One of my favourite frames from this wedding — a quiet, in-between moment as the bride climbs the staircase to the bridal suite at McLean House. While I no longer take on many weddings at this venue, photographs like this one still shape how I work today with the families I photograph in Leaside, Lawrence Park, Rosedale, and Forest Hill: candid, unposed, and full of feeling.
McLean House, tucked into the grounds of the Sunnybrook Estates in midtown Toronto, is a peaceful retreat in the middle of the city — and a quietly stunning setting for both weddings and family portrait sessions.
